Sonny McLean's,

 

Last summer I noticed your "We Support Our Troops and Our Troops Support Us" gallery was only one Marine strong.  I wanted to do my best beef it up a little.

 

Attached is a picture taken a few days ago at Abu Ghraib, Iraq.  Specifically the highest security compound: Camp Redemption Level 5 Special Housing Unit.  All of the country's dirtiest jihad fighting bad guys have seen Level 5 at one time or another and for the last 6 months my guys have had the pleasure of babysitting these sweethearts.

 

I moved out to Los Angeles from Mass (Northampton and Waltham) and randomly met Kateri DeMartino who introduced me to Sonny's.  During my first visit we bumped into Kevin Millar fresh off his World Series win (I was lucky enough to attend Game 4 in St. Louis.  That solidified Sonny's as the place to be.  Oddly enough, most of the people I have met in California have been transplants from New England.

 

6 more months and I hope to get back to Sonny's again for a cold Sammy's and a C's game.
