“And
while we're on the Tom subject, we've discovered the Hollywood heavy's fave new
place to catch his Red Sox in action - Sonny McLean's in Santa Monica.
The Left Coast bar, owned by transplanted Bostonians Jim and Fran
Conners, has all the Boston games on the tube.
``Tons
of people from Boston go there,'' said Wellesley homey Jay Harrington,
who has a role on Lifetime's ``The Division.'' ``I was there at 9:30 in the
morning watching the Celtics playoff game the other day.''
Now
there's a fan!
Werner
discovered the Boston sports Hub during a Yankees series when he was
looking for a place to see his new team in action. He showed up with Sox hats
and shirts for the homesick sports fans, posed for pics and signed autographs,
said Harrington.
The
big-time TV producer - who obviously hasn't signed up for the satellite dish -
got a surprise during the Fenway showdown when a birthday cake was delivered
from his ``Today'' galpal Katie Couric back in New York.
Everybody loves a winnah!”
